About Bara Botanicals

Bara Botanicals began with a simple act of care: an herbal oil made for a friend experiencing dry hair. That small beginning planted the seed for Nana’s Elixir.

Its meaning deepened when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. My brother and I put everything aside to care for her. After bringing her home from a nursing facility, we were given precious moments of connection as she regained consciousness, moments we will always treasure.

Caring for her shaped the heart of Bara Botanicals and inspired me to create plant-based alternatives for our community, with care and intention at their core.

Nana’s Elixir is a tribute to my mother and to all mothers. It honors the love that nurtures, the strength that supports, and the care that protects. Every bottle is created in that spirit.
